Nyditot recently released a program for PocketPCs that allows users to modify their display settings. Nyditot Virtual Display works very much like Jimmy Landscape but offers many more advantages!
By using Nyditot Virtual Display (NVD), users will not only be able to rotate their PPC screen to the right and left, but also upside down. The display can also be panned to fit screens of all sizes, and when I mean all, NVD will let you setup the definition up to an amazing 2040*2080!!
Many presets are already entered and you can choose the one to maximize your PPC functions; improving your web browsing in landscape mode or even setting your PPC to use as a mobile presentation tool that will work in conjunction with a projector for example!
In addition, you have the option of creating new display settings and saving them for later use!
Another great feature of NVD, is the simulated "mouse" that appears on the PPC screen when running the application! The mouse will let you navigate through the expanded view very easily with quick taps to get to each of the four corners of the virtual screen! The mouse also serves as an option button for NVD; by simply clicking on it, different options appear, letting you adjust the current display!!!
Finally, the program also has two great options that need to be mentioned; the "zoom/fit to display" option lets you "zoom" the current view, and make it fit to "normal" PPC screen size; the "darken text" option which will very nicely bold any font displayed on the screen, making it much easier to read, especially in a higher resolution modes!
Priced at $12.99 (only $3 more than Jimmy Landscape), Nyditot Virtual Display is a very nice and powerful alternative to tweak your PPC display!
