A couple cool PDA cases.

Here are a couple of PDA cases that I received from the Stylus Central. The Stylus Central offers a huge variety of cases. You'll find anything you need from the $15 basic case to the highest quality Vaja cases. Find their case listing here.

  • Lodis PDA 3 & 6 Ring Agenda Insert:

The Lodis PDA case is a great little PDA case that will conveniently attach to your binder, allowing you to carry your mobile device at all times. The PDA will attach to the case via velcro. It will also hold a couple of credit cards or business cards. You can also carry it on you at all times and use velcro on the outside to convert the case when not attached to a binder. The case measures 5" (12.5cm) tall x 3.5" (9cm) wide x .75" (2cm), and will accommodate most regular sized PDA's. It is best suited for the Palm, but my iPAQ did look fine in it. I was unable to use it with my CF sleeve, even a SS2 will not fit...
The construction and the quality of the leather used is good, and priced at $23.95, this case is a great idea for small sized PocketPC.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Quality of leather and finish
  • Nice idea to include the binder holes

    Cons:

  • Too small to accommodate bigger PocketPC.

  • Eagle Creek Data Pod:

This little case can be used for pretty much anything you want. Priced at $15.99, this will be a very cheap alternative to protect your PDA, digital camera or anything else. The construction is excellent. This case also features a very convenient belt clip, one inner pocket and one outer pocket.
As a test, I tried to fit several items in it; first my iPAQ with SS2, then my digital camera, my iPAQ accessories, and also my Stowaway Keyboard. They all fitted perfectly. I was even able to squeeze my iPAQ with SS2 in its Vaja case in the Eagle Creek case! This case will be perfect to carry my iPAQ during rainy days (and protect it even more) or simply to store my accessories (which are currently all over my briefcase).

Once again, I'd like to thanks Jim Myers from the Stylus Central for sending me these units for the review.
