Macromedia Flash player 4: Flash player for your PPC. You can use it with some games that are now available in flash format. Also allows you to view some flash animations. Freeware.
Microsoft Media Player 7.1: Media player for your PPC. Plays common video and audio format such as mp3, mpeg, wav.... Also you can create custom play lists from your desktop PC and upload them directly to your PPC through sync. Freeware. Must have for those that have some storage space to put large multimedia files. One little problem with this latest release is the difficulty to read the IBM Microdrive! I experienced many slow down during playing sessions! My guess is that for mp3s, you'd better stick with the original Media Player!
MpegTV Pocket TV: Freeware that allow you to view mpeg files and such. Nice options, especially with a Microdrive option that you can select to raise the battery life when playing from a Microdrive.
PacketVideo PVPlayer: avi player. Also I do believe it plays other format, but there isn't a full screen option like in PocketTV. One nice feature is that it allows you to use a connection to view live streaming video. Freeware.
Microsoft Media Player Tech Preview: this is similar to the version you run on your desktop. It will play .wmp files on your PPC.
