AOL Instant Messenger: cool little program (from the popular AOL IM Windows familly) that allows you to check and talk to you online buds. Drawback, input difficulty.... make sure you let them know that you're using a PPC! Freeware.
AvantGo: software that allows you PPC to sync to a server and upload info that you can review later while not connected. You can customize it to view channel such as weather, movies listing, news, and even some games. A must have! Freeware.
Microsoft High encryption pack: Added encryption for your PPC.
Microsoft 128bit Encryption: pretty explicit!! Easy install freeware. I do believe it has been replaced by the High Encryption Pack.
Microsoft Internet Explorer Tools: Tools for Pocket IE that let you specify the amount of space allocated to the Temp files, and also enabling Jscript.
HTML editor: simple HTML editor. Freeware.
NewsCE: newsgroup viewer for PPC. you can synchronise it with you desktop (not through ActiveSync) to get the latest news downloaded on your device.
Multi IE: great little utility that allows you to open more Pocket Internet Explorer!!! $10.
