Turjah:
one of the best Shot'em-up game for the iPAQ. The
graphics are basic but detailed and use all the colors available of
the PPC. No save option that is the only drawback so far. Works only
in Portrait mode with the first version (the new version switches back
to portrait to play the game... but the stylus orientation isn't!!!!
so you can't really use the stylus to play), but Jimmy told me they
were coming with an update to fix this up. About $25.

Turjah 2: very similar to the first edition, this great Shot'em-up
got even better!!!! The graphics are great, but I have to give it
a bad rating, since I am lefty and the only way you can control the
shooting is by keeping the "contacts" button pressed at
all time! This makes it very difficult for players like me, to keep
the button down while navigating the spacecraft!!! They should have
stick with the original control layout!
Ziosoft
Metallion: this is so far the best game that I've seen
on the PocketPC platform! This game features 3D graphics that are
just amazing. The play is fast and many options are available to set
the game to your level of play!! A must have! :)
Amazing
Game Chopper Alley: Chopper Alley is a great helicopter flight
simulator. It puts you in a combat situation and offers many levels
of difficulty. The graphics are good, and the controls are relatively
easy!!!
Leo's Flight Sim Beta:
This is a great little flight sim for your iPAQ. I love it. It just
takes forever to load especially if you're running it from a Microdrive.
Microsoft Chess: Chess game that allows you to play with the PPC
or with a buddy (exchanging your PPC). 8 levels of difficulty. The
first two are for average users but it gets harder very fast, and
could really be a challenge for the most advanced players! Freeware
comes with the Entertainment Pack.
Microsoft Cubicle Chaos:
Arkanoid game-like. Very nice graphics, lots of platforms and options.
Freeware. A must have little game for your subway rides.
Microsoft Fire Drill: A little
game in which you have to extinguish the fires taking place at the
office. Fun game overall. Nice graphics. The levels don't get harder
fast enough, and you may end up spending some time to get it interesting!
Freeware.
Namco
Pac-Man: Old school but none a the less a classic. If
you don't know it, ask your older brother. I have no idea where to
find it. I came with the Entertainment Pack loaded on a CF card.
Neotiles: little Chinese puzzle type game. Very fun and
easy to operate. The only little thing that bothered me was the annoying
error message popping up while choosing the wrong tiles. Freeware
Pocket Pop: Little bubble popper game. Variety
of options, from choosing the size of your grid to the display type
of the bubbles. This is a great game for sleepless nights. Freeware.
Quake: finally an adaptation
of the popular PC game. The install process is quite of a hassle.
Make sure you have a large CF card since one of the file is quite
large. The beta is free but you will need to register and buy it if
you want to fully use the game (restricted levels). Also I found that
the game was somewhat difficult to play with the pad, but I'm sure
lovers will appreciate!
Scoot Seligman Puzzle of Pipes: little puzzle
game that ask you to keep the water flowing through pipes. Freeware.
Reversi: PPC game similar to the desktop application.
Freeware
Slay: warcrafts type game. Freeware
Solskia: RPG. this game is still a beta but seems
to have a nice future. The graphics are simple but it seems interesting
even though there isn't really a point in playing to beta but killing
some skeletons!
Weebo: platform game. Mario type. Simple but nice
graphics, fast animation. Freeware.
Pocket Doom: nice adaptation of the desktop game.
similar to quake. The install is
easier, but in order to play you have to install specific
files.
Take over: nice little
Flash puzzle/reflection like game. Freeware
Poker: poker game
running Flash. You can bet how much you want to risk, and play. Freeware
Pocket Millionaire: great for
the fans. This apps is nicely designed with Regis' voice. You can
also customize the question but creating you own list. Fun freeware!
Pocket GB: game boy emulator. Freeware.
Casino: casino like game. This game runs Flash
but take some times to load and unload.
Microsoft Pocket Hearts: adaptation of the
desktop application. Freeware
MameCE: multi-platform emulator for PPC. comes with
